Dato’ Norizan Bakar holds a BA in Business Administration from University of Toledo, USA.  He started his career in 1984 as Sales Executive with JVC Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd and moved on to be Sales Manager at Onkyo Electronic Malaysia Sdn Bhd. In 1992, he became Sales Director for Compaq Malaysia Sdn Bhd looking after the Government Sector.

In 2000 he formed his own company, NKS Systems Sdn Bhd undertaking contracting jobs from Telekom Malaysia Berhad and other major organizations as well as the Governments’. As the CEO of NKS, he has the vision to grow the company from doing managed services and field maintenance in telecommunications into an entity that’s involved in fiber network deployment and broadband.

Today Dato’ Norizan is planning to make an entry into military and defense contracting works. He is collaborating with world-class defense vendors to design and deploy military air-base facilities such as radar systems, defense command and control systems, navigation systems, aerodrome lightings and the entire airbase integration systems.

With a strong growth vision and strong ability to assess the business opportunities, NKS has grown steadily under his leadership.  He has a high level of motivation that transcends into working culture within the organization. Everyone in the company is emotionally engaged in striving towards organizational targets.  Motivating the team is what he does best.
